Herno and Adrian Paci in Florence

"Di queste luci si servirà la notte"

Florence – Montelupo Fiorentino – Pelago Museo Novecento, Le Murate. Progetti Arte Contemporanea Fornace Cioni Alderighi, Ex Fabbrica Tappeti

11th November 2017 – 11th February 2018

Herno contributed to realize Adrian Paci’s exhibition.

"I knew Adrian in 2001. I was impressed by "Home To Go": abandon, memories, a new start; in other places, in other situations with other reasons it represents my business path. Since then an increasing friendship in diluted meetings, short but emphatics dialogs. Today in “Di Questa Luce Si Servirà La Notte” water is presented like an analogy for flow, constant research; Herno means constant innovation, a development of unexplored production flows. Erno is the name of a river that flows into Lake Maggiore. The lake to which I belong to. Arno, the river of Florence, my elective city. I am happy to contribute to this project." – Claudio Marenzi, CEO of Herno

Claudio Marenzi, born in 1962, is strongly passionate to contemporary art, and this love is the same shared for his Company: Herno, born in 1948 on Lake Maggiore. The second generation’s course, headed by Claudio Marenzi, represents a turning point in the international growth. Recently elected Cavaliere del Lavoro, President of Confindustria Moda, President of Pitti, Marenzi is a fervent supporter of Made in Italy, creator of the first European project regarding the traceability of an eco-sustainable production process of a fashion garment. Already sponsor of Miart, from time to time he allows passionate “jumps”, financial and not only abstract in the parallel world of contemporary art.
